Itron OpenWay Operations Center
- The OpenWay Operations Center is the Internet-of-Things (IoT) solution from Itron, comprised of the Collection Manager, the Performance Manager and the Cisco Field Network Director
- Operations Center acts as the centralized hub between the meter population and utility office systems and processes
- Collection Manager software manages high-volume, secure communications to the meter population, including performing reads, operating the disconnect switch, updating the firmware
- Performance Manager provides operational reporting, but replaces unwieldy spreadsheets and ad hoc reporting with purpose-built applications to facilitate and expedite issue resolution
- Field Network Director manages the Cisco Connected Grid Routers network for IoT applications; the scalable, highly secure, modular platform enables an open ecosystem of devices and sensors
